Christmas Concerts with Paradyme Duo
Paradyme Duo invites audiences to warm and atmospheric Christmas concerts filled with heartfelt music, beautiful harmonies, and a touch of seasonal magic.
The Danish-Canadian duo, made up of Reg Downey and Andreas Flensted-Jensen, has spent nearly a decade touring throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. Their expressive piano arrangements and elegant two part harmonies create a Christmas mood that makes it easy to feel the joy of the season.
The program features a blend of classic Christmas songs and the duo’s own material, including “Kalenderlyset,” which Paradyme Duo has recently been performing for and with inmates in Danish prisons.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Simon and Garfunkel, Josh Groban, and Michael Bublé, Paradyme Duo creates an atmosphere where both heart and humor are invited in. Between songs, Reg and Andreas share stories from their many musical journeys, and audiences are often encouraged to join in on a few familiar Danish songs
