Paradyme Duo

Every performance is designed to create a moment that matters, where music and brief reflections open space for hope.

We cannot count the many times people have approached us after a concert to share what our music has meant to them. One of our greatest joys is seeing people experience those small or big aha moments or paradigm shifts in their lives while we sing. That is why we chose the name Paradyme Duo. We liked the spelling with “Y” – just because it is unique and stands out.“

The duo is made up of Reg Downey, a Canadian singer who has made Denmark his home, and Andreas Flensted, a Danish pianist and singer with deep roots in the country. Their musical journey together goes all the way back to the late nineties where they worked a bit together for a period of time. Life then took them in different directions and they lost contact for several years before reforming the duo in 2016.That’s the year everything began to happen.

Since reuniting they have been unstoppable. They have released four albums, several singles and a series of music videos, and they have travelled widely with their music. Their tours have brought them to many different countries, including performances for five thousand people in the United States and concerts in unique and exotic places such as Pakistan and the Faroe Islands. With every concert they continue to build a growing international presence, touching audiences and inspiring people wherever they go.

Reg and Andreas are widely loved for their warm personalities and natural ability to connect with people. Their concerts are known for vocal harmonies, uplifting energy and an atmosphere that makes audiences feel welcomed and comfortable. Whether chatting with them before a show or enjoying their music from the first row, people often describe how the experience has left them encouraged and inspired.
